Pavlov Archaeopark brings visitors to the place where mammoth hunters lived 30 thousand years ago. They can see exhibits from that time and go back in time for a while. The asymmetrical white towers rising out of the ground resemble the rocks that rise on the slopes of the Pálava Mountains. The construction of the archaeological park alone is unique. The exhibition space is almost entirely hidden in the ground wave. On the outskirts of Pavlov, in the place where a settlement from the Young Palaeolithic period used to be, which was declared a national cultural monument in 2010, a modern field exhibition has been created. Visitors can walk around the uncovered part of the mammoth bone dumps, left after archaeological research right on its original site. The exhibition, integrated into the modern architecture, introduces those interested to the settlement of our region 25-30 thousand years ago, the interesting and rich material culture of hunter-gatherers, including numerous examples of advanced art, rituals and burial ritual.
