It is located at the beginning of Suchý Žleb, about 500m East of the Rock Mill. It is part of an old outlet cave, as evidenced by the noticeable signs of flowing water and erosion. Kateřinská Cave was also rich in deposits of bones of Pleistocene animals, especially bears. Is has been open to the public since 1910.
