You can use your school issued ISIC as a city library card for 2 months without any registration fees
1 Limitation
The Municipal Library in Prague (MLP) allows you to use ISIC as a library card after registration. When you register at the MLP for the first time you’ll be able to access all services for the first 2 months with no fee. This only applies to Czech school/University issued ISIC cards with in-built chip technology.
Conditions for applying the discount
- Z technických důvodů nelze v MKP využít ISIC vydaný Českou zemědělskou univerzitou v Praze, Vysokou školou obchodní v Praze a ISIC vydaný mimo školu (neobsahuje čip).

Prague City Library provides library and information services in all of its 41 branches, 3 mobile libraries and e-library (www.e-knihovna.cz). The library offers a wide selection of literature for students of humanities, music, theater and visual arts, and online access to articles many more foreign articles. You can even rent a movie, music, e-book reader, a turntable, or a board game. Titles are easy to find on the library website. The halls of the Central Library often hold concerts, meetings with authors, film screenings, art-house productions and even Hollywood blockbusters.
