Těšínské Theater is (in Polish: Teatr Cieszyński) is currently the only Czech professional theater, which includes two ensembles playing different languages ​​- Czech and Polish. This is due to the fact that in the region of Cieszyn Silesia lives a relatively large Polish minority (60,000 inhabitants), and it is also located on the Czech-Polish border. Těšínské Theater has been one of the main organizers of the annual International Theater Festival which has taken place on the border since 1991. It is also the only professional theater ensemble by the Polish outside of Poland.
